Grants for participants with limited financial resources. There is a limited amount of grants available, that will be awarded based on the following criteria: economic situation (we prioritize participants from institutions with limited financial resources in low or middle income countries), prospects for further use of human rights knowledge, English-language skills, commitment to reading distributed training material in advance, geographical location (we aim for variation), and gender balance. These grants will cover roundtrip airplane tickets to Oslo, course registration fee, and accommodation in Oslo. Participants, however, are expected to cover other expenses themselves, such as visa application fee and food beyond the common meals.

To apply for a grant please send a one-page letter to nchr-academy@nchr.uio.no describing how you fit the above criteria. The letter should be sent together with your CV and a completed application form.
